It was Abby and Elmo's first time trick or treating and they LOVED it. Maddy was so cute with her little "hi, trick or treat, ty (thank you) and byeeee" at each house. Jacob just loved trying to eat all his candy through the wrappers. I thought he wouldn't keep his Elmo hood on but he did :). Taylor had fun too. Just like last year she was afraid of anything remotely scary and refused to go up to a house if it was "scary." She would also check out everyone else's costumes and if they were "scary" she refused to go up to the door with them. At one point she even walked in an old couples house and let the guy comfort her to get away from a boy in a scary mask. We kept telling her they are just toys. They aren't real. So then finally the last part of the night she would say, "it's ok, it's a toy" about everything.
Taylor and her cousin ended up wearing the exact costume :). Aren't they adorable?

she looks so grown up in that last picture! i was cracking up when i saw your kids had their buckets. mia took hers trick-or-treating too and the two have since been inseparable.
